FORT CARSON MOURNS THREE SOLDIERS KILLED IN HELICOPTER CRASH
At the same time that more than five thousand Fort Carson troops are coming home from Iraq, many soldiers and civilians gathered recently to remember three officers who were killed just a few weeks before they were scheduled to return. Eric Whitney has this remembrance of First Lieutenant Joseph deMoors and Majors Douglas Labouff and Mike Martinez. [LISTEN]

HIGHWAY 24 PLANNING ROLLS ON
Chances are you've heard of T-REX and COSMIX, the big projects to expand Interstate 25 in Denver and Colorado Springs. Less well known is the burgeoning plan to up-size the main route out of Colorado Springs into the mountains, U.S. Highway 24. The plans have certainly gotten the attention of residents of the West Side neighborhood. Anita Miller has this report on the highway planning process. [LISTEN]

GRASSLANDS OF EASTERN COLORADO - PART 1
The Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands, located in western Kansas and eastern Colorado respectively, have released the first land management plan to be promulgated under the new Forest Service planning rules. In the first of two reports, Stephen Raher explains the history of the national grasslands. [LISTEN]
