LONG LINES, MACHINE MALFUNCTIONS SLOW DENVER VOTE
Bente Birkeland, who staffs our Denver bureau, visited polling places and talked to voters about their frustrations. [LISTEN]

PRECINCTS AND HIJINKS: VOTING IN COLORADO SPRINGS
Republicans said there were problems with improper IDs being used at Colorado Springs precinct 20, a Democrat poll watcher there called it “blatant intimidation of the student vote.” Also, Jay Fawcett and the county GOP complain of vandalism of their offices. [LISTEN]

TED HAGGARD'S INVESTIGATORS SPEAK
On Saturday, Reverend Ted Haggard was formally dismissed as head pastor at Colorado Springs' 14,000 member New Life Church. That happened just four days after Mike Jones, a Denver man who describes himself as a former prostitute went public with allegations that Haggard had paid him for sex, and to get methamphetamine for him, over a three year period. Haggard initially denied all the claims, and the admitted to getting a massage from Jones, and buying meth, although he says he didn't use the drug. We hear from the church panel who investigated and fired Haggard. [LISTEN]

LOCAL AUTHOR PENS NEW GLOBAL WARMING BOOK
Scientific experts are meeting at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Nairobi, Kenya through next week. They warned yesterday that global warming may threaten natural and cultural heritage sites world wide. Boulder science writer Robert Henson has written a new book on the topic: The Rough Guide to Climate Change. His book is written for non-scientists who want to learn about both the science and the politics of climate change. Here, he speaks with KGNU's Daniel Costello. [LISTEN]

COMMENTARY: LEARNING FROM FAILURE
No matter how today's elections turn out, there are going to be winners and there are going to be losers. The losers may feel like failures. But commentator Eva Syrovy says, failure isn't necessarily necessarily a bad thing. [LISTEN]
